The flower blooms toward the sun.
And, it changes front according to running on of the sun.
(It is actually a mistake. However, it had been believed so in old times.)

Hi = Sun, Sunshine, Sunlight, Sunbeams.
Mawari = Turn around, Rotate, Revolve, (= Mawa(-ru)).
